Thanks to Marbee Go, for including us in her announcement....
contentFinally, our album's lay out is done.
We are so excited to get the final album.
for a sneek peak on each page, just click this photo....
i have asked Paul to revise some of the pages since i wanted a black and white effect and sepia on some of the pictures.
goodChristmas draws near and my bloggin fever just came back now....
i just started updating the DREAMTEAM - my wedding suppliers run down of reviews which made my wedding a worry free and successful one.
it's barely two months after our big day....and excited that it will be our first Christmas as husband and wife...
Was thinking of my christmas present to him...another Lacoste shirt... or Emporio Armani perfume...among his wish list kasi....
I don't want to splurge money just to buy him the SONY CAMCORDER....which will definitely too costly and not part of the budget for now...since we have a plan this coming year...hopefully. i will be able to push through in workin overseas...flying to Singapore this March, that's why we need to really save some BUCKS to spend...
accomplishedmy hubby is inclined in war games, air soft. every sunday is a date between him and his friends.
we woke up around 7am already with a call from one of his friends, Batchy. They had this team, A.S.O. ( Acolytes Special Ops ).

I was supposed to go home in Pacita to spend the entire afternoon with my own family. But he insisted that I watch his games. So as a wife, of course, i need to be and must submit to my husband...so there we go to Tropical in BF to watch his games.
After his several games, then its lunch time already. Since we did not have packed meals for lunch, some of our friends had to drive me to the nearest food chain. I had ordered beef stew and bistek tagalog for us to share.
The guys even teased him telling him that its better to always tag me along because he is inspired in all his games, that he was able to hit plenty of opponents.
Also ordered for clubhouse sandwich too. This is the first lunch out that we shared.

Then afterwards, we went to visit Angela, our friend who had cholecystectomy at Asian Hospital. We ordered 2 boxes of pizza and 2 softdrinks for merienda. The entire barkada was in camouflage and fatigue pants, that's why people seemed to be all staring at us at the hospital lobby.
impressedhere's some of the glimpse of our wedding pictures from our main photog, paul vincent.
just click the pictures to get connected to my photographer's link, see more of our wedding photos, candidly taken!

cheerfulShe reminded us to have a breakfast buffet at the Mandarin. We had our hot tub bath and felt so relaxed. We were able to have our breakfast around 830am. We can't have much of the buffet breakfast, maybe because we feel so tensed on the big day.
We told each other, there's only 9 hours left and this is it....month long preps is over....attention to details which i got crazy about is at its end, my OC-ness done...and i will march down the aisle to meet the man i love tonight.
We just felt so happy and smiled...this is it, baby!
We had to check out at Mandarin Oriental at 10am and move to the Peninsula Manila at around 11am. I just so loved the grand staircase, cozy ambience, good customer service and huge pillars of The Peninsula Manila that's why i couldn't help but book this as our dress up venue.
Upon reaching the hotel, my first supplier was my designer, New Creations Fashion, we were still at the lobby checking in when Ms. Evelyn came together with Vangie, her assistant. There also comes our best man, Crooger who came all the way from Bicol just to make it on our big day.
Everyone was amazed with how beautiful the hotel was. The suppliers loved the premier suite we booked. We are at Room 1062 while the groom's room is Room 1042.
My designer had to iron the gown and set it up on the mannequin. After set up, everyone praised my wedding gown and the train as well. They loved it including the intricate embroidery.
Then my bouquet and ento flowers supplier came, Interplay Creative arrived to bring my lovely bouquet and great entourage flower arrangements. I was certainly amazed and hugged Lala when i saw her arrangements. I especially loved my bouquet (tulips and calla lilies) and also the maid of honors bouquet.
After 30 minutes, my hair and make up artist came, Angie Cruz, together with Anna, hair stylist. I was so thankful that Angie was able to make it on our wedding, he met an accident the night before my wedding and had 10 stitches for he suffered from head injury. I really admire him for his professionalism. He was there and even earlier than the call time. She made me really pretty and dashing bride. Very light make up and even my husband loved it.
I also got a call from our lovely caterer, Ms. Eres, who has advised me of some arrangement changes on the venue. I told her, I trust your talent, i know you will make it even better. Blue Petals is also one among the suppliers closest to our hearts. Her personal touch really interests us in working with her.
Then, Paul Vincent arrived together with Ivy, his wife...our main photographer. He is one among our favorite suppliers, he approved our request for a scratch proof and waterproof album.
Afterwards, our church florist, Sunny Florist, the official florist of Santuario, delivered the buttonaires for the male entourage. He even told us that with our flowers upgrade, she did 2 more arrangements for us, as his gift. I really appreciate the suppliers gifts on the last minute of the wedding.
Kix Tavora (2nd photog) was flying all the way from Iligan to make it in our wedding. He has seminar and he flew all the way just to make it on our big day. Thumbs up to him too. From the airport, he went directly to the hotel.
I was also informed by Emily, my cake supplier, Sugarbox, thru celphone after she has arranged my wedding cake. She reminded me to cut it on the 2nd layer....hahaha! I am pretty much more excited on our wedding cake and cake topper since it is a surprise for my husband. The cake lay out she presented to us was totally different since i requested for a revision since i wanted to surprise him and he really loved it too...together with the 2 layers mini cakes which emily designed for us....
My quintet, The Wedding Symphony, Mr. John Santos also advised me that he will personally play at the church during my wedding. This even made my wedding more complete, because the owner himself is going to play for us.
Lastly, the butterfly supplier, Garden Fairy arrived at the hotel.
It even rained cats and dogs at around 2pm in Makati. It's a good thing we have changed to an indoor venue, otherwise, i will get so much worried if the rain won't stop.
At around 4pm, the rain stopped. God heard our prayers.
nervouswe woke up so early because his parents won't allow us to drive to the hotel. they said, we need to be extra careful since we are prone to accident.
they were at our place to pick up the boxes and things to bring to the hotel at around 1130am. we had to drop by in one of the houses of our ninong and ninang since they can't make it in our wedding, she will give to us her cash gift. another ninong from switzerland also left his cash gift to his son...
so on day 2, we had cash gifts on hand already...they said that it might be of help on the wedding day itself,...pandagdag kumbaga!
we were so happy then.....our coordinator, Momsy Rowie checked in the hotel ahead of us. we arrived makati around 4pm already. We also toured around Mama and Papa to check out Mandarin.
We stayed at Room 812 and it was also a cozy place. I and h2b had to rush to supermarket to buy foods and paperplates/spoon and fork for tomorrow's big day. It is for the purpose to feed the suppliers who will be there early at the hotel. We don't want to them to starve, they need to eat in order for perform their jobs well di ba.
Our Emcee Edwin then arrived at the hotel for final briefing with my coordinator. We slept with the emcee in the hotel and did final briefing.
As OC as i can be, i was being stopped by my coordinator to let go of the preps, for that evening, i am still in the final checking of my things and the place cards as well.
I just couldn't help but check everything because i want it to be all organized.
It's a good thing, i got voice already....Thanks God, i recovered so fast.
Thanks also to the w@w, especially Jacqui ni Simon who posted to pray for me to recover faster and those who prayed for a very good weather tomorrow. Love you guys! Mwah!
productiveTruly i got so many abubuts to shoot for my wedding, i just hope photographers would be patient enough in shooting details of our wedding.
Finalizing the table place cards, and other minute details to endorse to the photographer.
We will be staying in Mandarin Oriental tomorrow...and will move to The Peninsula Manila on Friday.
Got so excited and mixed emotions reigned in me!!!
goodhad to buy frames for the pictures to be displayed in the venue. had to buy ribbons for the toasting flutes and cake cutter. Wrapper for the bearer of treasures and a lot more trinkets.
I had to rush also to my dentist at Alabang Town Center to have the oral prophylaxis and checking for a good close up smile on the day of our wedding.
Smile~~!!!!
highthis hoarseness and lost of my voice struck me.....i need to have it back before Friday. I am on my final briefing of my suppliers.
Definitely, it seemed that my leave which is supposed to be on Wednesday still, came out earlier....I am on leave on a Monday.
I rushed to Asian Hospital and consulted EENT. Accdg to the doctor, who is so good looking, hahaha! it's a good thing, i get to see him, he was so cute....parang gagaling bigla ako....i had acute laryngitis daw. he suggested a total bed and voice rest...so no options to talk...if i can write whatever i want to say better...so in short, i am on leave for the entire week before my wedding.
The doctor showed me an xray of my throat, instead of my voice box in pearly white color, it was swollen and in red...so he had to give me a high and effective antibiotic, Zinnat and very expensive in order to have a voice soon and be relieved. our mission, to be able to talk before Friday.
but as expected, i receive phone calls from office to check on decision making and details of work in which my staff needs guidance and final decision.
too bad, i just hope i would get well soon.
since i got so worried knowing i am an OC bride, i get the laptop of h2b and sent mails to my suppliers for the final reminders and briefing.
even my coordinator, i dealt with thru e-mail. hahaha!
hopeful5 days more to go before our big day....
my gown this time deserves a post, this was taken during my final fitting...

tube top of my gown with champagne and ivory embroidery details and swarovski and beadworks

my lovely train in organza embroidery and beadworks
i just so loved my gown, i was not able to take a picture of my 6 meters veil with embroidery at the edges too.
i'm excited and nervous on the countdown of our wedding...
nervousi have filed my VL on Wednesday, Oct 12, 2 days before our wedding. I just couldn't take longer days of leave because one of my staff is on maternity leave. Another staff who is newly hired is still on his adjustment stage and turn over of files hasn't been that detailed so he really needs some assistance. As much as I would want an entire week rest before my wedding, i just couldn't do it.
I got hoarseness of voice and i can hardly speak. I'm afraid on our big day that I won't be able to say my "I do" and my personal vows....ooohhh my God, I just wish I will get well soon.
I am quite feverish now....hope this won't worsen...I will march down the aisle in a week from now. Oh God, please help me get well soon.
disappointedmaybe i just get too tired and excited on my wedding preps!
i'm sick and does not have voice to recite our vows.

we have reseved 180 guests, it should have been only 150 pax but guest lists kept on booming...we might add up some more during the wedding day.
we will have a couples gazebo and cake gazebo as our back draft.

indescribablemy gown has been done...i am in the final ocular of my gown for my final approval including the accessories....this deserves a post yet...some of the final gown itself needs to be featured.

pictorial holding my tube top and train in the mannequin

grabe! ang laki ko di ba...my arms kakahiya di ba!
guilty ako, kasi i should have lost more pounds, wala na talagang pag-asa, because of the steroids i'm taking for my psoriasis, can never get rid of those fats anymore...di bale, i'm still the bride....who will be dashing on my wedding day...hahaha! giving justice to the gown...i don't think so!
there will be an off shoulder champ like to cover of course my shoulders, eh ang laki ba naman, it needs to be hidden di ba?

closer view of the details of my train at new creations shop!

missed to have pictures of the accessories to post...well, this will be c/o my photog na lang siguro to have an excitement to foresee on my wedding...hahaha!
guiltyOct 1, nearly 13 days to go before our big day.
Time flies so fast, reminiscing the times as if it was January when we started preparing...and now barely few days left for the last minute stretch of the preps...
