it's barely a month to have my most awaited first gown fitting...hopefully, my designer as she claimed will make me at least sexy in my gown...as she claimed...my fairy godmother...

i am still check on the design of the off shoulder, which i have been asking her to put on hold for the meantime...

well, i just hope i could have lost more pounds after desiring to have anlene choco during lunch, only have half rice morning breakfast...and no dinner...crunches night and day!

big day is just a few months away...i just can hardly remember, that time flies talaga...

well, there's plenty of stuff to do this weekend

1. haven't realized that my baptismal certificate has problem...my name got Maria there....kasi during those times, my mom just wanted me to have maria incorporated on my name, the date of the baptism was ahead of the date of birth....eeewwww! its a good thing my mom carefully read it, since i was asking her to check it with St Ignatius in QC...its a good thing my mom works near there....so i saved money and time to ask the church people to amend it, anyway, it's their fault.

2. need to go to Ateneo to meet our officiating priest this weekend

3. finalize cake lay out with Sugarbox at the podium

4. check out phoebe's final lay out of the invites i am asking her to do...i kinda, inputted some more design kasi

5. finalize the bridesmaids gowns since i have been asking h2b's sister to check the design she wanted

6. get the fabric from my designer to be brought to the shoemaker...surfing designs of shoes still...i wanted mules uniquely done...

the 3 secondary sponsors had their gown measurements yesterday from New Creations.

Their gown is a Demetrios inspired bridal gown. Ms. Evelyn ( New Creations ) did their sketch...

here it is...

they claimed that they will look radiant than the bride...my designer just smiled.

this is the part of my gown which i like the most...

the back portion was inspired by BONNY collections. this is a princess cut gown which has the low back unique scalloped neckline trimmed with embroidered and beaded floral handmade direct embroidery

- This will be 6 yards cathedral train, The low back leads to a split semi cathedral train with scalloped trim outlining the scattered flowers on the tulle overlay of the semi-cathedral train.

- scalloped hemline is champagne in color which has a matte effect

- low v back if shawl is removed

finally got the sketch of my wedding gown from New Creations...

Front of my gown

-Two-piece silk with organza A-line features champagne,ivory, gold embroidery on bodice and train

- made of silk gazar which has a shimmery effect, ecru in color blended with champagne lining on the edge of the upper scallop part of the tube

- made of fully embroidered inspired by Oleg Cassini design with champagne, ivory and gold threads

- glass beads and swarovski beads will be added as additional accent

- veil will be 10yards long ( iridiscent tulle with japan beads/swarovski)

- detachable shawl type ( in case i finally had the courage to wear a tubee top, oh my gosh! )

now is the time to finalize our arrangement and munchy details for our wedding. we are getting Ms Eres, Blue Petals since her food is yummy yet affordable. She is also the event stylist, with the combination of 1816.

we will have two sets of arrangements for our wedding.

we will have tangerine sets of arrangement and apple green sets of arrangements in order to look lively...we don't want to have it combined in 1 table...we wanted a unique blend of our motif

Having finalized the swatches to be used for my whole entourage and for my own gown, it's time to get the design that everybody would want .

since she will be my youngest sister, she personally chose a gown patterned after her fave tv series, sex and the city, worn by charlotte,....her shade will be triacetate of a different shade of green with beadworks in tangerine shade

actually she has this two options to choose from.

another friday has come. got totally excited with the embroidery which was finalized by New Creations....

the inspiration

this will be the final embroidery of the entire gown including it's accent at the back of the scallop.

I and h2b really loved it. Actually i would like to post one among her creations, which was fully embroidered. Embroidery is really her forte...i really wouldn't regret hiring her services to do my gown...

i am really happy....hope on the first fitting this coming july, it will be a blast...

because of being too OC, i visit her almost thrice a week just to check on the developments of my gown.

we finalized the fabric to be used for my gown, she will use silk gazar since i wanted a shimmering effect of the gown, it will be light champagne in color.

she also showed me this matte version of two tone cloth as the fabric for the scallop at the back of my gown.

i was so happy with it, she will change the embroidery in champagne, gold and ivory colors instead. she will deviate from the motif since i and h2b finally agreed not to copy the colors of the oleg cassino gown but still following the embro details.

i also gave her the beads which i bought from carolina's but she told me it was not enough...

saw this stuff from rustans, i just so loved it....i saw some in oceanic already, but it does not have any butterfly. i wanted to have something unique....

instead of sticking with the conventional arrhae, we decided to deviate and buy this stuff from Oceanic.

It is a breakable white stuff with swarovski rhinestones on the cover. Velvet red on the inside.

We will be using collection of Euro and Irish coins which was a gift from my college friend, Leori who is based in Ireland.

the rhinestones on top captured my attention in oceanic. i only get to see this in glorietta... it's a good thing, i did not buy the stuff i saw in alabang town center, it's better to have this....

Accomplishments this weekend

it feels really good knowing i have accomplished a lot for this week for my wedding preps...

1. flower shower cones with butterfly accent - interplay will just provide me rose petals to fill in these cones

2. chopsticks favors bought from bangkok - in which i added touch of butterfly accent, with favor tags c/o printed matter
all chopsticks favors for the guests with a total of 75 in tangerine and apple green hues is already done.
for the chopsticks favors for the principal sponsors, i still need to wait for the complete porcelain chopsticks in tangerine and green color. in only got 10 pairs only, i will just feel bitin in doing it...

3. envelope for my invites - handmade papers with monogram stickers - but invites are still for finalization, DIY lang tong covering ng invites instead of the initial proposal of phoebe na raffia only, i decded to have an outer lining...

4. teabags wrapped in scented origami papers which was bought from bangkok with shimmering butterfly accent and favor tags - tea-rrific couple c/o printed matter

hay, at least i can be productive once in my life...for the wedding preps. i just felt so lax for the past days eh...

this is one among the special bridal fair i attended, because i get to recognize and see some of the w@wies, including mama benz....yup, she was there, trying to get contact details of suppliers... ( hi mama benz ! )

i tried dropping by at the fair just because i need to get the favor tags i asked phoebe to do for me...

i found the fair so enjoying, now that i have to meet my suppliers there, PRINTED MATTER and ADEB.

i met grace dy and aggie ni edil at phoebe's booth, pati si helen who was with grace....

too bad, i had to leave earlier even if i wanted to make tambay pa sana because of the company of some w@wies, kainis nga eh, i had to rush to attend a wedding in san sebastian...wedding of my friend sunny was a blast...not to forget to mention the delectable food of tamayo's...as in super busog kami...

I might try to convince h2b to go again tomorrow, pag sinipag siya, kailangan bribe ko siya to watch movie first, kasi medyo tamad yun...

initial embro details

got the embro details of my gown already....my excitement boiled down to 3... the embro was perfectly fine except for the details of the flowers and colors of the thread.

it was so colorful, that i thought of not applying the motif anymore...

i need critique from you co-w@wies, i will post here the first one she did. i don't actually like the color and the big flowers. i initially asked her to do a tulip replacing the big flowers. she will do another embro with the colors with a lively shade of threads and with the thread matching the color of my gown, which will either be gold or silver...in any case...

xean does not want the colorful embro as well. i asked New Creations to do another one for me which i might post by Tuesday

this saturday and sunday, june 11 & 12 will be the perfect beginnings fair to be held in SM Megamall.

i & xean really wanted to attend this fair to get our favor tags from printed matter. i will also grab unity coins as well.

we are also attending a wedding on saturday night in san sebastien, the church wedding of our dear friend sunny....

just couldn't wait for Friday!

this friday will not be an ordinary Friday for me, it's another bonding with my coutourier, Ms. Evelyn.

am not naman that excited di ba, ksi she's going to show me the embro details of my gown already, for me to finalize the metallic thread that she'll be using and if the effect suits my taste. i was fetched by my fiancee yesterday at makati, i was trying to disturb him in his meeting with clients because of my OC - ness....

off to carolina's to buy the swarovski and to the cute store in sm makati ---- got too excited that i even volunteered to be the one to buy the beadworks, swarovski and other glass beads that will be part of my gown which was deducted from the total quote of ms evelyn...she said she will add more embro, since i took the hassle of shopping for this stuff.

the embro details of my gown will look like this, but definitely, my motif of tangerine and apple green will really be the highlight...

initially, when i had the downpayment to ms evelyn, xean was not convinced of getting her at all, mas OC pa kasi sya sa kin, he really look into details....gusto nya to see final output of such supplier, kaya medyo, mahirap siya i convince.

i asked ms evelyn, to bring to him the latest gown that she is currently finishing....when my baby saw it, it made him smile....especially looking into the details of the embro...

we argued pa nga on how long will my gown be, kasi gusto nya i pattern after the gown he saw, but i wanted it longer, mga 4 yards and my veil at 6 yards....

at least i'm happy now that he's comfortable with my coutourier, bec he was really hesitant to pay a certain amount to that supplier knowing its costly due to embroidery details that i wanted...

now we're both happy!

wedding gown hunting is finally over....

i found NEW CREATIONS, Ms Evelyn Guerrero who will do this exact

designs for me...she will do the embroidery in accordance to my motiff,

apple green and tangerine....

its not just ordinary lace patching but embroidery of the exact

gown....hopefully she will do this for me perfectly with matching hand

gloves...

she previously worked with david's bridal and set up her own shop here in laguna....
